This paper is part of an on-going project which aims at building an agent-based computer supported collaborative learning system to help users to learn a natural language by collaboratively constructing a dialogue on the web. In this paper we first discuss the general, high-level, issues related with the application of the software agent computing paradigm in the domain of collaborative learning of a natural language and then present an architecture of it based on the integration of a Java-based agent framework and Pro log.
