The aim of our research is to establish a new methodology for developing flexible distributed systems based on the agent technology. We designed a language, named DASH, for programming a distributed agent system based on the production model, and developed its working environment on the internet. Next, we propose a framework for develop ing flexible distributed systems consisting of agent repos itories and agent work places which are programmed by DASH.
