A Novel Semi-Fragile Digital Watermarking

Abstract

Semi-fragile digital watermarking has been concerned gradually because this digital watermarking has some special characters than fragile digital watermarking and robust digital watermarking. It can not only maintain the integrity of multimedia, but also can resist some valid processing such as JPEG compression. In this paper, we propose a semi-fragile digital watermarking technique based on predictive technique and scale Quantization function. Experimental results show that the proposed technique can resist JPEG compression, and can detect any tamper in image at the same time.
