Abstract

The aim of the research is to apply non-linear models for the prediction of the production rate in the pressure screening. In the research fuzzy clustering methods are utilized for gray-box modeling. With fuzzy clustering methods different operating points are modeled separately. The purpose of the models is to predict the consistency of the accepted pulp flow of the pressure screen. The methodology is applied to the pressure screening of thermo mechanical pulp (TMP).
