This paper describes a telemedicine system for the clinical telemonitoring of patients at a hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. The system includes an intelligent control module, implemented by agents and charged with task control and distribution and with the assignment and regulation of the priorities and availability of resources between the computers connected to the telemedicine system. The monitoring system also includes a 3D visualization module, which allows the clinical staff to follow and detect any anomalies in the patient´s evolution.
