vortex method, circular cylinder.
Simulations of the flow around a circular cylinder in uniform stream, obtained by lagrangian random vortex method, are presented. Comparisons with experiments performed in hydrodynamic tunnel allow to criticize the results and to foresee the strategies to get better simulations.
