Abstract

This paper develops and presents the representation of the magnetic circuits with topological dual circuits in cluding hysteresis nonlinearity and iron losses. In this study, the hysteric permeances are modelled with the Jiles Atherton (JA) approach to take the hysteresis effect into account. Iron losses are modelled with voltage dependent current sources connected parallel to the hysteric perme ances. Comparisons of simulated results with measured results from a core type transformer demonstrate the ca pability of the proposed method.
