Vertical Wells, Drilling, Helical buckling, weight force per unit length, Dynamic Analysis
Investigation of helical buckling of pipe in wells for extraction petroleum is important. In the previous dynamics analysis, the weight force per unit length was neglected. In this work, considering the weight force per unit length, the helical buckling of pipes in the circular cylinder is analyzed. Considering the weight force per unit length by to solve this problem, the pipe under buckling is divided to 4 regions: 1: the without buckle region (the pipe is under tension). 2: the transient region (the pipe is under pressure but isn’t in contact with the circular cylinder body). 3: the helical buckling region (the pipe is under pressure and is in contact with the circular cylinder body). 4: the end region (the pipe is under pressure and is in the bottom of well). Since by considering the weight force per unit length the equation will be nonlinear so, this research is seeking a suitable and simple method to solve this equation.
