Abstract

In the license identification system, the core problem is to identify the characters in the license plate, and to locate the area where the characters are. Therefore an improved seeds algorithm based on gray system theory is proposed in this paper. The experimental results showed that this algorithm can locate the license plate accurately and real-time under complicated background variety lighting condition.
