Abstract

Nowadays, the needs of information retrieval (IR) to support decision-making and knowledge management in digital libraries have been significantly greater than ever before. However, people are confronted with various problems in traditional keyword-based information retrieval. In this paper, we mainly investigate those problems and demonstrate several natural language processing (NLP) techniques that may solve or alleviate the problems.
