Abstract

In this paper, different Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) systems including application of nonlinear methods in these systems are described at first. Neural networks are explained afterwards. The results of simulations are presented at last. Here, combination of two filters is used for broadband noise reduction with feedback topology. In one case neural network is used as nonlinear filter and in other case, FIR filter is used as linear filter. In each case, first only one filter is utilized and then combination of two filters is used. So four different conditions are compared and the amount of noise cancellation is presented for each one.
