Road Vehicle Communication System, Buffering Scheme, Location-dependent Information, Location aware Buffer
In this paper, we consider the problem of dynamic buffer ing of location-dependent informations to local buffers at base stations in road vehicle communication systems. The objective of the buffering schemes is to increase the hit ratio by keeping the spatial continuity of buffered in formations. Three buffering schemes are proposed and evaluated. By the result of simulations, we found that by using a hybrid of statistic-based and model-based ap proaches, a high hit ratio exceeding 0.95 is achievable even when the buffer size is smaller than 15 % of the total information size.
