Impact ionization, ionization energy, high-tension converter
This paper presents an experimental work concerning reinforcement of impact ionization effect on electrodes in an electrostatic field. This reinforcement was obtained by the use of a special high-tension converter, operating beyond a threshold electric field value. The converter produces voltage pulses capable of increasing electrodes’ potential.
