This paper proposes a generic network interface model targeted to support network management services over the mobile phones for a plethora of existing Power Line Home Automation Networks (PLHAN) for the purposes of control and monitoring. The availability of technologies such as the Power Line Communications technology, and Mobile technology creates a combination, which is ideally suited for future electronic commerce applications related to remote home control.
