The problem of power system stability including the effects of a Flexible Alternating Current Transmission System (FACTS) is approached. The Controlled Series Compensation is considered int he machine against infinite bar systems and its effects are taken into account by means of an automatic method of analysis, using an energy-form Lyapunov Function (LF) and a procedure based on trajectory monitoration.
