Wheeled Energy Forecasting, Open Transmission Access
The paper develops a model for long-term forecasting of the energy to be wheeled in a transmission system. The model is synthesised using a constrained optimisation method together with historical data of an actual power company. Variables in relation to economic forecasts and tariff are included in the model. Sensitivity of the energy forecast to economic forecasts is investigated in the paper.
