Abstract

In this paper we present a comparison of a special kind of interference cancellation algorithms, employing independent component analysis, where the number of sources is larger than the number of receiver units in a subscriber’s terminal. Ad-hoc wireless communication is a promising not so far future service, where the presence of interference during communication purports the main problem, even harder than in conventional wireless systems. Reduction of the impact of interference can be efficiently achieved by using a widely examined statistical signal processing method the independent component analysis. However, the efficiency of methods is different depending on the several parameters, introduced in this paper.
