Abstract

The Telecommunications Information Networking Architecture (TINA) is an open, object-oriented, distributed telecom architecture that aims to allow rapid and flexible development of new applications on all kinds of software and hardware platforms. This paper describes the research activities in some of the primary application areas for TINA services, which include Mobility, Internet Information Services, Multimedia services or applications, Virtual private network (VPN) customisation and management, and Electronic Commerce, by providing information on some of the scientific papers related to them.
