Abstract

In urban areas radio propagation loss is very high and the fading is very severe in comparison to rural areas. The information capacity requirements in urban areas are higher than that of rural areas. One of solutions to capacity increase is adaptive Space Division Multiple Access [SDMA]. In this paper we proposed adaptive SDMA with repeater. If the fading of the Base Station originated signal is more severe, there will be another reliable path through the repeater. In this paper we also analyze the capacity and QoS of the network with the presence of repeater in the proposed adaptive SDMA.
