In this work described an algorithmic part of the hardware-software complex for reading and recognitions of alphabetical-numerical code on surfaces of well tubes. For increase a contrast of initial images we use interframe image processing of the mark code received at various directions of tube illumination. If this procedure impossible applies filtration of separate images based on local dispersion. Recognition procedure is based on the correlation comparison character cell with a set of pattern symbols. Experimental results of code recognition on real well tubes are presented.
