Image analysis, feature extraction, approximation of discrete set, parallel processing.
The work offers a research of approximating properties of the distance field, which can be effectively calculated in parallel by means of vertical data processing. A procedure is constructed which, despite the lack of information about the order of points of a discrete set, in some cases results in its "natural" ordering, that can be useful for the discrete disconnected objects recognition.
