Image mining, image nature.
The problem of combining and optimizing complex procedures for finding required image transformation according to informational image properties is considered. The peculiarities of visual cognition and methods and means of formal description of images in image recognition problems were investigated. It was introduced a notion of image equivalence to support image set decomposition into subsets of a certain type and to allow establishing correspondence between an equivalence class of images and some subsets of operations. On this basis, the method for selecting efficient image recognition algorithm according to image informational nature was elaborated.
