An Electric Power Steering (EPS) System will be considered in this paper. Properties of EPS are preliminary investigated, its simplified mathematical model consisting from two independent components is offered. Synthesis of control system EPS offered to be carried out in two stages. Preliminary the internal stabilization contour of the required compensating torque, which is fast in relation to external, calculated. Therefore for the analysis of system properties the method of motion division is used. Calculation of an external contour allows to provide desirable properties of an EPS as a whole.
