Abstract

Requirements traceability is an enabling capability for ver ification and validation of software-based systems. This paper reports on the outcomes of an industrial pilot project investigating the costs and potential benefits of adding re quirements traceability to the development lifecycle of em bedded software. The project forms part of an industry re search collaboration which aims to increase integrity assur ance for products containing embedded software.
