Centralized Power Control in Coordinated CDMA Systems using Krylov Subspace Iterations

A new centralized power control scheme based on Krylov subspace iterations is proposed for the uplink of coordinated CDMA systems. The proposed scheme has much faster convergence speed comparing to other power control schemes, by using better numerical method, namely, the Krylov subspace iteration method, and by taking advantage of the full knowledge of the link gain matrix through multi base station measurements and coordinations. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed power control scheme in coordinated CDMA systems.
