Interactive Simulation, E-Learning, Distributed Environment
Practice is indispensable in learning. Therefore, interactive simulation will essentially influence the next generation e learning. Our work addresses architecture and techniques for such simulation applications. Interactivity, flexibility in location and time, and community on-line, are key charac teristics considered in our work. We present in this paper the results achieved so far, which include an architecture for session-based interactive simulation environment for dis tributed user groups, and a first evaluation of techniques to realize the architecture.
