Abstract

In this paper, a robust LDPC decoding technique in consideration of error propagation is developed. It is applied to Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) system to improve the quality of communication. In the conventional LDPC decoding process, when lower reliability probability value of bit sequence spreads on Tanner graph, the performance of LDPC code capability seriously deteriorates. We suggest a technique to prevent an expanse of error propagation using the threshold processing of the logarithm priori probability distribution ratio. In the simulations, the performance of MC-CDMA system is evaluated in various noise environments. The effectiveness of the robust LDPC decoding technique in consideration of error propagation used for MC-CDMA system is examined.
