Connection Caching, TCP/IP, Distributed Systems
We present a user-level connection caching component that supports a broad range of TCP-based distributed applica tions. Our work focuses on fully distributed connection caching in order to be able to specifically support applica tions which exhibit more complex communication patterns than (centralized) client/server communication. We present performance measurements indicating the usefulness of our approach.
