Today more and more organisations and individuals require high quality services over the Internet. Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) provides a paradigm that advocates services encapsulation based on business processes. Web services are its representative implementation for interoperation between service consumers and providers. However, there are needs to add intelligent components into such mechanisms for enhancing business processes like service procurement that involve negotiation to solve problems under uncertain circumstances. This paper proposes a framework that incorporates software agents to SOA and designates them in GCB cards as specifications. To demonstrate its application, a case study about a process of manufacturing procurement is provided and an object diagram is presented as a consequence.
