Fuzzy theory, principal component extraction, robust robust algorithm
In this paper, we address the issues related to the design of fuzzy robust principal component analysis algorithms. We formulate a fuzzy objective function for principal compo nent analysis and derive algorithms that can extract the ap propriate principal components from the spoiled data set. Artificially generated data sets are used to evaluate the per formance of the proposed principal component extraction algorithm.
