Abstract

This paper presents a genetic computing method with di viding strategy for a robust PID controller with two de grees of freedom (2DOF PID controller) design. Since the objective plants have a time-delay element and para metric uncertainties, the design problem is formulated as a multi-objective minimax optimization problem. There fore the high-performed optimization method is required. The proposed genetic computing method is to generate a set of non-dominated solutions that is properly distributed in the neighborhood of the trade-off surface generated by multi-objective functions. Numerical examples show the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
