Abstract

In this research we describe an implementation of the joint statistical co-occurrence analysis of 3 types of dynamic contrast enhanced magnetic resonance (DCE-MR) images of breast tissue for detection of tumors. The method was implemented in distributed and parallel environments to decrease the long execution time caused by the huge size of data. This method is the first known implementation of the joint statistical co-occurrence analysis on 3 types of phar macokinetic data and also the first implementation of multi image co-occurrence analysis for medical applications.
