Abstract

Electronic marketplaces (EM) are virtual locations that are realised with the help of modern information and commu nication technologies, that serve as a platform for the con currence of supply and demand, and support the exchange of goods, services, and information in a market as agreed on by contract [1, 2]. The core goal of the current analysis is to establish the significance and importance of the elec tronic marketplaces in the Internet driven economy. In this paper, we analyze the factors that impact on the efficiency in the supply chain, including e-business portal.
