dual-band, CPW-fed, C-shaped
: A dual-band C-shaped printed planar antenna fed by coplanar waveguide (CPW) is proposed. The antenna is comprised of a C-shaped printed element and a protruding portion of the feed line above the ground plane. A prototype of the proposed antenna has been constructed and tested with sufficient bandwidth to work at the 0.9 GHz and 1.8GHz suitable for dual band GSM and DCS/PCS wireless systems respectively. Details of the simulation and experimental results are presented.
