This paper presents a broadband antenna array pattern syn thesis technique using convolution constraints. These are easy to implement linear constraints and allow steering the main beam with a specified response in any direction with out using steering delays and placing a specified null any where in the pattern. Examples are presented to show that the beamformer using these constraints is also able to can cel unwanted directional interferences using the remaining degree of freedom.
