We present in this paper, a new algorithm to construct different types of lower degree approximates of a high degree singular system based onto SVD-approach, that had the main advantage to preserve the key properties of the original system, such as stability, and give a quantiza tion of approximation error. By the use of Schur method, model reduction is performed either on the proper and im proper parts of a high-degree original system. A numer ical example is provided to illustrate the behavior of ap proximates vis-à-vis original system.
