Abstract

Supply chain logistics planning is a complex process. In most cases, the supply chain strategy evolves over time due to many incremental decisions and influences. When a supply chain has established supply chain management needs supporting tools for the tasks of tactical and operative planning, scheduling and coordination. The paper analyzes structures, architectures, modelling aspects and control activities. Using an object-oriented approach a software solution is presented for a bakery supply chain, base for further complex approaches up to distributed modelling.
