Modelling and Simulation of Power Systems, Heatrate, Realtime, Performance Monitoring
A simplified model of a Coal-Fired Power Plant based on the output/loss method for Performance Monitoring is presented. Most of the data needed for performing the calculations is already available on the plant computers in the U.S.A. Real-time results using this model compare very well with carefully conducted performance test results.
