r Desiccant materials play a significant role in enhancing the efficiency of the air-conditioning (A/C) systems. The enthalpy desiccant wheel significantly improves the dehumidification process of the supply air. In this study, a parametric study is employed to compare two different models of the enthalpy desiccant wheel: (1) silica gel and (2) molecular sieve under different operating conditions. Statistical models found in the literature are used to carry out mathematical formulation for this study. It is found that molecular sieve offers better dehumidification process as compared with the silica gel model.
