Abstract

Approaches to control system software designing for local physical devices, which are used for scientific experiments, are described. The description is based on a generalized control system for superconducting wigglers designed and fabricated in Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics for BESSY-II (Germany), ELETTRA (Italy) and CLS (Canada) Storage Rings.
