Approximation, image filtration, neural networks andhierarchical approximation.
Two different nonlinear approximation methods of multivariate regression (neural networks and hierarchical approximation) in the task of image filtration on the base of the a priori information in the form of a matched pair of images ("ideal" + "deformed") are considered in this paper. Comparison of efficiency of the described approximation methods is presented.
