Abstract

Peculiarities of mining such as changing environment and movement of a working place don't enable to use robotics for manufacturing here. The history of mining robotics is described. Robotisability of mining is evaluated by influence of changing environment on a control, visibility of a working area, functional stability, and other criteria that are suggested in the paper. In spite of such difficulties, robotics is considered to be the basement of intellectual mining without underground miners. Cost and effect of robotization in mining are compared by the criterion of labor changes.
