Load-flow, Real-Coded Genetic Algorithms (RGA) and Newton-Raphson.
In this study an improved genetic algorithm (GA) solution of the load-flow problem is presented. In order to minimize the total mismatch of the power balance equations, a real-coded genetic algorithm (RGA) has been implemented. The method is illustrated by various tests on a six-bus system. The proposed method shows reliability, accuracy and repeatability in solving the power-flow problem.
