In this paper, we present an algorithm for automatically summarizing and generating poster representation for Microsoft PowerPointTM presentation. Our main achievement is that we can precisely analyze presentation structures from significant design varieties and select necessary and important visual components for a poster which can effectively help our users understand contents within presentations or locate a specific presentation in a shorter amount of time. Moreover, in the absence of well developed benchmarks, we apply a semantically meaningful method to quantitatively verify our algorithm. Experiment results show that our system can definitely provide our users with an exceptional efficient way to browse and manage their presentations.
