Abstract

The "m-Apps" middleware is a software technology specifically designed and developed for the aggregation, integration and distribution of Internet contents and applications to mobile subscribers, independent of mobile networks. It makes resource sharing seem transparent to the end user, providing ease of integration, consistency, security, privacy, and capabilities. The m-Apps platform, a unified middleware and open platform, serves as an "aggregation gateway" for mobile operators, financial institutions and internet content application providers to enable transactions and information flow to mobile users.
