Knowledge collaboration, group decision, online community, rating
Traditionally, assessment of posts in a Web-based Bulletin Board System (BBS) forum is done by moderators manually. In order to receive wider opinions and reduce bias, we propose an approach to assess information (messages) through group decision. Our approach enable systems to evaluate the overall rating for every post based on all readers' ratings and comments. Since moderators and experienced members usually have better knowledge than other users, ratings of these members are considered more effective.
