IMS, workflow, diagram, activity, Learning Design.
is a research project about evaluation of e learning standards and application of markup languages in order to create adaptable content. This paper describes our approach towards the implementation of IMS Learning Design in our system, based on the applicability of Workflow Systems as middleware components. We also explore the feasibility of applying UML Activity Diagrams to the creation of Learning Designs through reusing pre-existing UML compliant tools.
