Modelling, monitoring, fault diagnosis, on line process
In this paper, a model-based method for fault diagnosis in hydraulic motors is proposed. For this purpose a mathematical model is developed and validated in comparison to the real world data. Simulation results and data acquired from an actual system are compared on-line in a suitable environment to obtain the information needed for the fault diagnosis process. In the case of incipient faults a control procedure is executed in order to maintain the normal operation of the motor for a limited period of time in order to avoid a reduction of the efficiency or a shutdown of the production procedure.
