MPI, IPv6, parallel applications
With the next generation Internet protocol IPv6 at the hori zon, it is time to think about how applications can mi grate to IPv6. In this paper we take a look on the class of high-performance computing applications. This case study shows that a good abstraction layer makes it very easy to adapt applications to network changes. The mea surements with our implementation demonstrate the good performance of our approach.
