Verification and validation, inspection, maturity model, software process improvement
During the last thirty years software inspections have been acknowledged as an important and effective method in software industry. Regardless of this, software inspections are still not used regularly in most of the organizations and there is a need for inspection improvement. This paper presents Inspection Capability Maturity Model. The model can be used to assess the level of software inspection practices in an organization. Another goal for the model is to be a framework for inspection improvement.
